Wonderful Christmas!

Yep, this says it all. Our biggest gift this year was the birth of Laneah. But we had a great time all around. Notice the fog in Christopher's picture, and then the effect it had on the trees, the next morning. Beautiful huh?

Sabbath Day Thoughts

Our Christopher gave a talk today, and once again brought me to tears. The Spirit he carries with him, is felt by all. And I am so proud to be his mom.

Counting Our Blessings !!

I recently had a video sent to me, it was called "One Last Christmas." The song was written and sung by an artist named Mathew West. It was about a little boy that was having his last Christmas due to cancer or something, and how the town rallied together, in behalf of this boy. If you ever have the chance, look it up on you tube. But it made me realize how blessed we are, receiving this precious bundle of ours for Christmas. I hope we don't take one day for granted, and that we thank the Lord regularly for each other!

Gratitude to Heavenly Father

We were blessed with such a miracle yesterday, and I'm not just talking about Laneah. Because the Lord brought her yesterday, Keith was able to be there for the whole day, Lanelle had the doctors she wanted there, etc. And He also blessed Lanelle with a much easier labor than I ever had, which was a direct answer to my prayers. It was so cute, last night on the way home from the hospital, daddy took us to our favorite Chinese Restaurant, and here's what my fortune cookie read: "Angels are among us; when you find them, cherish their presence everyday." Well, Little Laneah is an Angel, and we will cherish her everyday!

More pictures of our beautiful grandbaby

We are so tired, that I don't have the energy to write. So I will let these pictures speak for themselves, she is breathtaking!

Laneah is here !!!

I will add more pictures later, and sorry if they're a little blurry. But I am so tired, I am about to keel over. She was born this morning at 8:28 a.m. 7 lbs even, and 19 and 3/4 inches long. More pictures to come, but here is mom and baby for now! Her water broke at 1:30 a.m. and we were all at the hospital by 2:30, needless to say, we are very tired!!

The Lord's Time !!!

I just have to say how much I love my Heavenly Father, and how grateful I am that He takes care of my baby girl. Last night Lanelle had a trip to the hospital because she thought her water might have broke, but it hadn't, so Grandma Monty's muffin still needs to bake a little longer. So we'll see how close she is, at Lanelle's doctor's appointment this morning. But I am so grateful for blessings, and even though we are all excited for baby to come, she will come on the Lord's time, NOT OURS! Lanelle's last blessing said that Laneah would come when she is SUPPOSE TO, and not until then. So you see only her Heavenly Father knows when that is, and I am so grateful that she is in His Protective Hands!!

Baby keeps wanting to come !!!

Lanelle's body keeps trying to get further and further into labor, to the point that she had to go to the hospital this morning. But the doctor gave her some pills that are even stronger, than the one's she already had. They relax the muscles, so it slows down the process a bit, and it takes the edge off as well. If the bayt would have been in distress, or if lanelle's dilation had progressed too far, they would have had to continue with the labor. But they both are doing great, so they will try to hold off a while longer, to make sure baby fully develops.
