Awesome Sunday !!

The talks today were taken from King Benjamin's address, so they were extremely good. And after church, because we are the last ward to meet, they had what was called "Linger Longer." It was basically a pot luck dinner, the ward supplied the meat, and we all were asked to bring some sort of side dish. They have it every now and then, so we can just get to know each other a little better. I thought it was great!

This is our dog Halley, the kids just loved this picture, so I thought I'd add it to the rest. She's 9 years old, and turning more gray every year. But she's still very healthy.

Had a rough week !!

I always try to keep my chin up, no matter what I'm going through at the time. But once in awhile I have a bad day, or a bad couple of days, this last week was like that for me. So that's when I pull out my scriptures, and turn to one of my favorites. Here is one of them: John 16:33 "These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world."
